Deon Conyers had a long and successful career in the NBA playing for Orlando Magic. During this time, Conyers donated a large percentage of his funds toward the hospital bills of families in need. This inspired Conyers. He saw the distress that many families went through in attempts to pay hospital and health fees, and immediately knew he had to create a change. Conyers began working with the political science department at the University of Central Florida to gain a reputable education in politics.
During his time spent learning the details of politics, Conyers was inspired to run for Governor of Florida to help the many impoverished cities and towns he grew up around. Conyers saw many issues with how the American government system ran things. This brought him distress, which inspired him to run for President.
